KS48C

High Sensitivity Accelerometer

Due to their high sensitivity, these piezoelectric acceleration sensors are particularly suitable for seismic investigations and the measurement of structural vibrations. Typical applications include vibration monitoring on houses, towers, masts, dams, bridges, wind turbines, oil platforms and pipelines. Other applications include the measurement of very low vibrations on highly sensitive systems. In contrast to sensors from many other manufacturers, the high sensitivity is not achieved by internal amplification, but by a very sensitive sensor element. This results in extremely low noise and very good resolution.
