KS48C

High Sensitivity Accelerometer

Due to its high sensitivity, this piezoelectric accelerometer is particularly suitable for seismic investigations and the measurement of structural vibrations.

Typical applications include vibration monitoring on houses, towers, masts, dams, bridges, wind turbines, oil platforms and pipelines. Other applications are in the measurement of lowest vibrations on highly sensitive equipment.

The high sensitivity is – in contrast to sensors of many other manufacturers – not achieved by internal amplification, but by a very sensitive sensor element. This results in extremely low noise and very good resolution.
